Identificarás y evaluarás nuevas oportunidades de negocio para fortalecer la actual posición de líder de mercado de South Pole Group. Adicionalmente, desarrollarás soluciones hechas a la medida para asesorar tanto a clientes existentes como a nuevos en el manejo de sus riesgos climáticos, con la ayuda de nuestra amplia gama de soluciones. Esta desafiante posición requiere de un entusiasta y dinámico profesional enfocado en la sostenibilidad, con experiencia relevante en ventas y en la gestión de la relación con los clientes.

Asesores – Programa de Riqueza Natural

morning-2477957_1920El Programa de Riqueza Natural, una iniciativa de cinco años financiada por la Agencia de Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID) e implementado por Chemonics International con el objetivo de mejorar la conservación de la biodiversidad mediante el uso de mejores prácticas agropecuarias, la promoción de negocios verdes y el mejoramiento de los procesos planificación y manejo de uso del suelo y áreas protegidas, está buscando consultores para apoyar al Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP) en la implementación del Plan Maestro de la Orinoquía (PMO). La PMO busca desarrollar un modelo de desarrollo territorial que equilibre las oportunidades en los sectores de agricultura, ganadería, minería y energía, con necesidades sociales y ambientales.

El Programa de Riqueza Natural está buscando consultores que están disponibles para proporcionar servicios técnicos durante un período de hasta 13 meses.

1.La responsabilidad del Coordinador de Estructuración del Proyecto incluye coordinar el equipo de estructuración de PMO, gestionando el soporte requerido para efectivo proceso de formulación y estructuración de proyectos.

2.La responsabilidad del Asesor de Estructuración de Proyectos (Llanos) incluye apoyar a los asesores temáticos del PMO en la identificación de proyectos estratégicos relacionados con las prioridades del PMO en los departamentos de Arauca, Casanare, Meta y Vichada.

3.La responsabilidad del Asesor de Estructuración del Proyecto (Región Amazónica Norte) incluye apoyar a los asesores temáticos del PMO en la identificación de proyectos estratégicos relacionados con las prioridades del PMO en los departamentos de Vaupés, Guaviare y Guainía.

4. La responsabilidad del Asesor de Infraestructura incluye desarrollar un plan de trabajo que identifique acciones a corto, mediano y largo plazo.5. La responsabilidad del Asesor de desarrollo de Turismo de Naturaleza incluye crear un inventario de proyectos potenciales existentes relacionados con el turismo.

Deputy Regional Director- C40 Cities

silhouette-1721306_1920The Deputy Regional Director will support the C40 Regional Director, the Steering Committee cities and the other C40 cities in the Region to ensure C40 is responsive and provides effective assistance to its member cities in Latin America.

The Deputy Regional Director will work to advance cities’ participation in C40 activities and support the Regional Director in: i) the engagement with the C40 cities in Latin America to ensure they comply with the C40 Participation Standards and get involved in different initiatives offered by C40, ii) tracking and reporting key results in the Region, and iii) answering specific requests for information and support from cities.

Person Specification:

  • Substantive experience of working in city and/or central government administrations or climate change related international NGO or business.
  • Some familiarity with a network of senior contacts in any C40 city in the Region, current/potential partner organisations, and the Latin America national governments.
  • Proven ability to engage with decision makers at a political or executive decision-making level within cities in Latin America.
  • Ability to work in an international organization and across regional and cultural boundaries. C40.SOP/HR/001 F2 3
  • Strong technical or policy background in climate change and climate science and in public project evaluation or international funding for public projects.
  • Significant experience in a relevant field connected to climate change and/or sustainable urban development. • Relevant academic degree ideally at Masters level.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is a requirement and knowledge of Portuguese is desirable.

Other Requirements:

Applicants must already have the right to work in any C40 city in Latin America and particularly in Mexico City, Bogota or Rio de Janeiro. Moderate to significant travel will be required, as part of the role.
